Snowflake

Vanaf eind 2017 heeft Cloud Analytics mijn specifieke aandacht. In eerste instantie gefocust op Snowflake. Inmiddels ben ik Snowflake SnowPro Core gecertificeerd en heb ik mij gecertificeerd als Cloud Analytics Architect. Ook wordt ik door Snowflake erkent als Snowflake Data Hero voor mijn bijdrages aan de Snowflake Community. Daarnaast richt ik mij op een aantal andere producten uit het Snowflake Eco-Systeem.

Analytics Consulting

Er zijn veel verschillende tools, methoden en technieken en deze wereld veranderd snel. Ieder bedrijf wil ‘iets’ met Big Data of naar de Cloud, maar zien door de bomen het bos niet meer. Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat zaken niet nodeloos ingewikkeld gemaakt hoeven te worden. Veel vergelijkbare tools en technieken hebben hetzelfde doel. Ik zal altijd kijken hoe het maximale uit een tool of techniek gehaald kan worden.

Oracle Analytics

Ik ben vanaf de begin jaren 2000 actief in de wereld van Business Intelligence en Data Warehousing. Sindsdien heb ik projecten gelopen bij uiteenlopende organisaties, van lokale overheid tot multi-nationals. Iedere organisatie met een eigen identiteit en eigen uitdagingen. Ik heb mijzelf gespecialiseerd in het productaanbod van Oracle Analytics en heb daarvan inmiddels een internationaal netwerk opgebouwd.

Snowflake Data Cloud Summit proved that after all this years the core idea remains the same and is still strong. Technology should serve and Snowflake makes things simple. One Single Unified Platform, one product and one engine. Ease of use and Govenance. Maximum efficiency and maximum simplicity.

Bring the processing of data to the data instead of the other way around. Snowflake as a Platform where you build and share your Data, Apps and AI Products. Your data never has to leave the Platform and Snowflake takes care of this Platform.

The announcements were not necessarily completely new, but a continuation of things Snowflake was already working on. Lot’s of Developments and Previews have made it to GA status and are now Generally Available to the public. A few announcements were made as wel.
